Last week our Secondary students took part in Make a Stand, raising over $6,000 to help rescue children from slavery through Destiny Rescue. What a wonderful effort! Thank you to everyone who donated—contributions can still be made over the coming weeks.

Students spent the day constantly on their feet, and while it was a real challenge, many told me afterwards how good it felt to know they were making a difference in another child’s life. Research affirms what we know from Scripture—that giving and serving blesses both the receiver and the giver. “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7).

At CCC we seek to grow Head, Heart and Hands. Acts of service are central to our mission—not only on special days, but through everyday kindness.

A friendly reminder to our OSHC families that any parents, grandparents, or other family members wishing to visit our OSHC service must be registered volunteers and have their visit planned in advance with our staff.

For the safety and wellbeing of all children in our care, we are unable to accommodate unplanned drop-ins from family members. This is a safety requirement and part of our commitment to maintaining a secure and well-managed environment for our students. We kindly ask that CCC families not park in the designated ELC carparks during the afternoon pick-up time. The current use of these areas by CCC families is causing a need for ELC families to park further away, making it difficult to safely collect their children.
