Please note parent preference data is used in discussions with our experienced teaching staff. This parent preference does not guarantee class allocations in 2026. Where possible, we give preference of a single year level class to the students who have been in composite classes the previous year.

Thank you to everyone who completed our recent Parent Satisfaction Survey. Your feedback is invaluable as we plan for 2026 and beyond. It’s encouraging to see such strong community support and appreciation for what makes Cooloola Christian College a great place to learn and grow.

We are excited to announce that, as Cooloola Christian College and the Gympie region continue to grow, our College bus service is expanding in 2026!

We’re committed to providing safe, reliable, and affordable transport for our families while continuing to uphold the values and care that define our College community.

From 2026, we will be offering the following bus services, helping us better serve families across a wider area:

• Imbil/Mary Valley
• Glastonbury/Widgee/Kilkivan
• Curra/Gunalda/Glenwood/Victory Heights
• Goomboorian/Cooloola Cove/Tin Can Bay

Primary Learning Support 2026

We are looking forward to 2026 and would like to share some important updates regarding Primary Learning Support. Next year, we will be implementing a tiered Response to Intervention (RTI) approach. Our team has been engaging in training and preparing new programs to ensure this is delivered with excellence. Please read the attachment to answer some key questions you may have. If you have any further queries, please contact the Deputy Principal Primary or Primary Learning Support Coordinator.

We love having volunteers as part of the life of CCC and thank everyone who has supported a camp, excursion or class activity over the years.

Due to recent amendments to Queensland’s legislation, CCC is updating its volunteer screening process: all volunteers must now complete the new application form and associated training before undertaking any volunteer duties.

In addition, any person volunteering in child-related roles will be required to hold a valid Working With Children (Blue) Card, which we will assist you to apply for free of charge through our administrative office. For full details of the new requirements and the legislative changes, please see the link below.

Next steps:

• If you do not currently have a Working With Children (Blue) Card, please contact Admin and we will assist you to apply for a volunteer card free of charge.
  • Once the Blue Card Application has been submitted and approved you will be able to follow the steps below.
• If you have a current Working With Children (Blue) Card, please fill in the CCC Volunteer Application Form found below and on our website.

All current volunteers must complete a new application form.

We are excited to share snapshots of the learning planned for the term ahead for our Primary students! A printed copy will be sent home for you to keep handy so you can refer to it throughout the term. Click the link below to view online.

We encourage you to engage with your child's learning by using the suggested questions at the bottom of the snapshot. These conversation starters are a great way to reinforce key concepts and support learning at home.

At CCC, we prepare students for God’s world and His future by building a strong foundation for faith, learning, and life. When our families feel supported and cared for, they naturally want to share their experience with others, and now, there’s even more reason to spread the word!
