Only 4 weeks until our annual Athletics Carnival kicks off!

Mrs Van Zyl and the PE team will be running athletics training on Friday mornings at 7:45-8:30am, starting this week (26 May). Athletics rotations will be set up to maximise participation and time to perfect skills. Athletics training is open for students 10-19 years old.

Exciting news for Primary boys and girls: Netball is starting on Friday 26 of May (tomorrow!). Mrs Ashby is starting a netball program with the vision to offer netball to Primary students as an extra-curricular activity next term.

Netball sessions will be on the multi-purpose court (near the bottom oval) and will run from 7:45-8:30am. Come & try for the end of Term 2!

We are looking for parent volunteers to assist during our Reading Challenge. If you would like to volunteer to guest read with our students during lunchtimes from Week 6, please email your expression of interest to admin@ccc.qld.edu.au.

We recently held the Mother's Day stall. What a success! Thank you to all those parents/caregivers and students for their purchases. We had lots of positive feedback.

Faith in Action

The P&F Faith in Action team and CCC Support Services have teamed up to help support our CCC Community. Can you help? We are looking for volunteers who would be happy to provide meals (cooked/bought - containers provided). Alternatively, perhaps you could contribute a gift card, coffee voucher or a home made card. Every little bit helps (there is always the option to pass if not convenient, or opt out). If you are interested in helping out in any capacity, please contact P&F Secretary, Laura McAllister: pandf@cccgympie.qld.edu.au or 0439 403 705.

Why not make pre-labelled bag tags with your scheme ID to hand out at your next community event (e.g. club sport training sessions, school and fundraising events)? You can use masking tape, labels, stickers or even pieces of paper for people to tape onto the sides of their collection bags.
