Cooloola Christian College is a great school, however, there are always ways to improve. Our goal is for every student to achieve their best in a safe, supportive, Christ-centred learning environment.

Currently we have several students involved in camps and excursions designed to pose good positive challenges.

In the Bible we read that challenges are a necessary part of growth! If you are about to take part in one of our Outdoor Ed expeditions, sleep with the Yr2s and the sharks in the tunnel at SeaLife, or find yourself in an equally unfamiliar situation, remember, these are opportunities to grow personally and build resilience. God promises that when we face trials, we develop perseverance, and then mature as people (James 1:2-4).

In the warmth of our community at CCC, we discover incredible joy and strength through faith. Here, we’re reminded to find reasons to celebrate, no matter the circumstances (Philippians 4:4). When we choose to follow Him, God's joy will be our strength, helping us to face all things that come our way (Nehemiah 8:10). We’re not alone in this journey! At CCC we support, pray for and love one another, sharing both joys and burdens (Galatians 6:2). It's like having a squad that's always here for you! Remember, when we gather with even just a couple of friends, God's presence is right there with us (Matthew 18:20). That's an amazing comfort in the midst of life’s challenges!

Please book your student's SET Plan meeting now through Parent Lounge. This 45mins appointment will be held in our Independent Learning Centre on Weds 16/8 or Thurs 17/8, at a time convenient for each individual family (parent and student together).

All students continuing at CCC for Yr 11/12 will need a SET Plan meeting.

SET Plan meetings are intended to:

• ensure staff at the college are aware of the individual student's preferred path after school (this might include - course, interest area, career or personal goals)
• finalise senior subject selections to best prepare the student for the path after school.

To prepare effectively for this meeting, families are encouraged to:

1. Investigate Career Targets (through Career Tools as guided in class lessons and above)
2. Identify a direction (course, personal goals career or interest area) for after school
3. Begin drafting subject or course selections (online link to "Web Preferences" will be provided to Yr10s next week).

Our new Term 3 Menu is now available! Please also try not to send large notes to school for students to use at the tuckshop. This makes it difficult to manage change and is also a risk for children to be carrying around large amounts of money.

From 2024, NO old formal uniforms are to be worn.

2024 Year 11 & 12 students - from January 2024 all Year 11 & 12 students are required to wear a formal hat, at all formal events and occasions that they are representing the College, as per the Uniform Policy. Hats are now available for sale. They will be discounted till the end of this year, so get in quick.

Senior Blazers, Hats and Ties - Senior Secondary students must wear a navy tie with their formal shirt. Senior Secondary students must purchase and wear a senior blazer and formal hat at all formal events and occasions that they are representing the College. This blazer can also be worn during cool weather. The hat can be worn during outdoor activities.

The School Dental van is going to be located at your school Cooloola Christian College from Thursday the 3^rd of August.

Consent/Medical history form has been issued to every student.

The School Dental Service is free for ALL students.

If you would like your child to have a check-up with the School Dental Service, please complete both sides of the form and return to school ASAP.

Dental staff will then contact parents directly to arrange suitable appointment times.

Brekky Club

Brekky Club has commenced every Friday 8-8:45am, we welcome volunteers to help run this ministry. Thank you to those that have donated, at this stage we have enough spreads etc, however any fruit would be greatly appreciated.
