A message from Mr Wiggins, Deputy Principal Primary
As we go about the important work of educating, loving, and caring for the children we teach, I want to pose the question: Whose wisdom are we relying on human wisdom or God’s wisdom? Psalm 127 says “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labour in vain”.
Our school is not “our” school, it's His school. God has given us the great privilege of being his witness to the children who attend here – by our words, actions, and attitudes that we display every day. Only he can work in us the godly character that will draw students to him. May we pray every day that he will display this character in our lives.
As go about my work every day I also find that it is very easy to float through on my human wisdom. I am a little “old school” in my methods and can have set ideas as to how to teach, deal with behaviour, respond to individual needs etc. The difficulty is that this wisdom is limited. I would encourage all of us to take the time each day to ask the Lord to lead and guide us and give us the wisdom to make decisions. The right decision is not necessarily the most logical one, it is the one that the Holy Spirit guides us to.
God bless you as you seek the Lord’s leading every day in your life.
