We are excitedly planning and preparing for 2025!

Please take the time to complete the parent preference form regarding class structures for 2025. Consider each child individually, noting the student by name in the form.

Please note parent preference data is used in discussions with our experienced teaching staff. The parent preference does not guarantee class allocations in 2025. Where possible we give preference of a single year level class to the students who have been in composite classes the previous year.

This form will remain open until Thursday 31st October at 3pm.

Have you ever considered what we owe to Christ? Every believer owes their very life, soul and being to Christ. He has done more for us than we can ever imagine. This love of Christ should compel us to action (2 Corinthians 5:14).

What is the use of love that never shows itself in action?

It is worthless.

If we can even grasp a small amount of Christ’s love for us, it should sweep selfness and worldliness from us and replace them with boldness for service and labour for Him.

We’re excited to share that we have over 80 Operation Christmas Child Shoe Boxes ready to send this year! To cover the postage costs, we’re hosting a Christmas Cupcake Stall next Thursday 24 October.

Parents if you are able to bake and donate cupcakes for the stall, your contribution would be very much appreciated. Students and staff will be able to purchase cupcakes at 2nd break.

Big Days Out – Years 7-9, 10 & 11 and 12

The end of the year is rapidly approaching and staff have been busy planning “Big Day Out”. Activities this year include:

• Year 12 - Aussie World (Wednesday 13^th November 2024)
  The event and date are still to be confirmed with Year 12 Pastoral Care teacher Mr. Pritchard.
• Year 10 & 11 – Aussie World (Friday 25^th of October 2024)
• Year 7 - 9 - Gympie Aquatic Centre (Monday 2^nd of December 2024)

These events are an opportunity for students to celebrate the end of the year with their classmates and staff in a fun and safe environment.

CCC’s usual high expectations of CLEAR values and non-uniform dress code will be maintained on these days. Additionally, students who have not completed assessment or have not been following our CLEAR values leading up to the events may not be permitted to attend.

“Big Days Out” are always memorable days for students and staff.
