We are so proud of our CCC Futsal Program. Four of our CCC Futsal teams have secured a spot in the Grand Final this Wednesday 20 November at Victory College. Well done students and coaches!

All are welcome to come along and support our teams this afternoon from 3:45 pm.

This year, we are excited to announce a refreshed approach to our Primary Presentation Night. Our goal is to create an evening that is enjoyable, inclusive, and celebrates every student.

How will the night run?
The evening will follow a split program format:

• 5:15 PM – 5:45 PM: Early Years Presentation Night (Prep to Year 2)
• 5:45 PM – 6:00 PM: Intermission – This allows younger children the opportunity to head home if needed.
• 6:00 PM: Primary Presentation Night (Years 3 to 6)

Why the change?
We recognise the importance of keeping the event concise and engaging for all families. By introducing this format, we aim to celebrate every student while accommodating the needs of our younger learners and their families during a busy time of year.

Considerations

• After the Early Years Presentation Night, younger children staying for the second half of the evening will be seated with their families. This may involve some seating adjustments during the intermission.

Stepping Up Morning – Tuesday 26^th November, 9:45 am to 10:45 am

Students from Prep to Year 5 will have an opportunity to preview their year level in 2025 (ie; Prep will visit Year 1, Year 2 will visit Year 3 etc). Teachers will share:

• Key curriculum highlights
• Major camps and events
• Growing responsibilities
• Introduction to play areas

Please note: The current year level teacher will host this morning – this will not necessarily be the year level teacher in 2025.

To make the final days of the school year special we have a great week of activities planned for our Primary students.

During Monday to Wednesday in the last week of school of 2024, Cooloola Christian College is pleased to present Year 7, 8 and 9 students with an Alternate Program.

Appropriate non-uniform attire may be worn on Monday and Wednesday (please adhere to the non-uniform guidelines in the Uniform Policy); sports uniform can be worn on Tuesday.

Please see the attached letter and flyer for an outline of each day, and additional items your child may be required to bring with them.

Please note that any students who have not completed assessment tasks or have outstanding RTP plans, will be required to finalise these before they can participate in the End of Year (EOY) Alternate activities.

IMPORTANT BUS AREA REMINDER

Please do not access the bus zone in the afternoon. It is a safety concern to have vehicles and people moving around buses.

All students are to be picked up in their dedicated pick-up areas. All students are to be picked up in the area of the youngest sibling:

• Prep – Prep car park area
• Yr 1-3 - Primary Village ring road pick up

• Yr 4-6 – Bottom Primary/ELC car park
• Secondary – Secondary area pick up on ring road

The final day of Term 4 2024 for students in Prep to Year 9 is Wednesday 4 December.

The final day for Year 10 & 11 students is Friday 22 November.

School commences in 2025 on Tuesday 28 January.
