Primary Chapel & Devotions - Week 6
This week in Primary, our memory verse is Ephesians 4:32:
“Be kind to one another.”
We have been exploring what kindness looks like in our everyday lives. In the classroom, kindness is helping someone who is stuck, listening when others are speaking, encouraging a classmate, and contributing positively in group work. In the playground, it’s inviting others to join in, playing fairly, using kind words, and noticing when someone may be feeling left out. At home, kindness can look like helping without being asked, speaking respectfully, caring for siblings, and showing love through small, thoughtful actions.
When we choose kindness in each of these spaces, we are putting God’s love into action in practical and meaningful ways.
Encouraging conversation at home:
You might like to ask your child:
- What did kindness look like at school today?
- Was there a time you showed kindness to someone?
- Did someone show kindness to you?
- How can we practise kindness together at home this week?
We also look forward to connecting with you at Fellowship Friday. It’s a wonderful opportunity to see kindness and community in action as we strengthen the partnership between home and school.
