This week, our Primary students are discovering that Jesus is the Light of the World - (John 8:12). Just as light helps us see where to go, Jesus guides us towards God's truth and helps us make choices that reflect His love. We are exploring how we can shine His light through kindness, honesty, encouragement and including others.

What could you chat about at home?

• Choosing the right path: How can Jesus and the Bible help us know what is right when we are unsure what to do?
• Shining a light: What is one small act of kindness that could make someone's day brighter?
• Kindness and truth: How can we be honest while still speaking and acting with kindness and respect?

Family challenge - Look for one opportunity this week to shine Jesus' light by encouraging someone, including someone who feels left out, or choosing kindness when it is difficult.

Grandparents and Grandfriends play an honoured role in our CCC community. Their love, wisdom, encouragement and faithful prayers are a precious gift to the next generation.

Scripture reminds us of the importance of sharing God’s faithfulness with those who follow us (Psalm 78:5–7). We are grateful for the ways our grandparents and grandfriends help nurture faith, shape character and remind our children that they are deeply loved.

We warmly invite you to join us for Grandparents & Grandfriends Day, beginning with Chapel and followed by opportunities to visit classrooms and experience learning at CCC.

We look forward to welcoming you and celebrating the special place you hold in the lives of our students and our wider school community.

When there are confirmed cases of contagious conditions within the College community, the College is required to notify the Public Health Unit and follow its advice and direction.

If your child is diagnosed with an infectious illness, please notify College Administration as soon as possible. Families are encouraged to refer to the Time Out for Contagious Conditions: Keeping Children and Staff Healthy (linked below), for helpful information about common infectious conditions and recommended exclusion periods.

The College is committed to supporting the health and wellbeing of our students, staff and College community. This includes following the advice of the Public Health Unit, communication with families when appropriate, and maintaining our cleaning and hygiene standards.

Thank you for partnering with us to help protect the health and wellbeing of our College community.

Dear Families,

If your student will not be returning to CCC, we kindly ask that all College resources be returned to the Library or Administration Office by their final day of attendance.

Please note that we are unable to finalise fee accounts until all resources have been returned and checked. Any items that remain outstanding after your student's departure will be charged to the fee account at replacement cost.

Library staff are not available during the holidays.

What you can do now: Please take a few moments to check for any College-owned books, devices, or other resources at home and return them before your student's last day. This will help us finalise your account promptly and ensure a smooth withdrawal process.

Thank you
