Welcome back to another exciting term at Cooloola Christian College. Our devotions this term will centre on a simple but profound question: Who is the baby in the manger?

As we journey towards Christmas, we have a wonderful opportunity to look beyond the nativity story and consider who Jesus really is — our Saviour, King, Lord and Redeemer. Isaiah reminds us: “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given… And he will be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” - (Isaiah 9:6)

What a privilege it is to share this truth with our students and families!

We also pray for our Year 12 students as they prepare for their external exams. Welcome back to Mr Vogler from long service leave— we are delighted to have him stepping back into his role as Deputy of Secondary, and thanks to Mr Packer for holding the fort in his absence.

With sport, the arts, excursions and many end-of-year events ahead, plenty is happening. We look forward to seeing you throughout the term. Community is what makes CCC special.

Thank you for supporting our P&F!

We would like to remind you of our morning supervision arrangements to ensure the safety of all students.

General supervision at school begins at 8:15 am, and we kindly ask that parents not drop students off before this time.

Supervision in the Early Years playground for Prep students does not begin until 8:30 am. Additionally, Prep classroom doors will not open for unpacking bags until 8:30 am.

If you arrive before 8:30 am, please ensure your child is dropped off at the Primary Village Courtyard, near the Year 1-6 classrooms, where a staff member is on duty from 8:15 am. There is no supervision in the Early Years playground before 8:30 am.

We appreciate your support in following these procedures to keep all our students safe.

In addition to the support we provide at school, families may wish to explore tutoring options to reinforce key skills, provide targeted assistance, or extend learning. This can be especially helpful in building strong foundations in literacy and numeracy, as well as supporting individual areas of need.

There are also a range of interactive online tutoring platforms available, offering flexible and engaging ways for students to practise and grow from home.

Please see the flyer attached below detailing some options and contacts.
