Celebrating the Value of Every Child
At CCC, we believe every child is uniquely created by God, deeply loved by Him, and made in His image. Each student has their own God-given gifts, talents, interests, and personality that make them special and valuable.
As a College community, we are committed to helping students recognise that while people may look different, learn differently, or enjoy different things, every person deserves kindness, respect, and inclusion. These values are at the heart of The CCC Way and are reflected in how we speak to and treat one another each day.
Children are learning that differences are something to celebrate, not a reason to exclude others. Whether it is hair colour, interests, abilities, family backgrounds, or personal strengths, every individual reflects God's creativity and design. When we choose words and actions that build others up, we demonstrate God's love in practical ways.
Family Connection
To continue these conversations at home, consider discussing:
- What gifts or talents has God given each member of our family?
- What makes you unique?
- How can we show kindness and include others who may be different from us?
- What is one way we can encourage someone this week?
Family Activity
As a family, create a "God's Special Design" list. Invite each family member to share one gift, strength, or quality they see in every other person in the family. Finish by thanking God for creating each person with purpose and for the unique ways He helps us reflect His love to others.
Together, we can help our children develop hearts that value, respect, and celebrate every person as a precious child of God.
