A reminder that our Yr 10 Immunisation Clinic is being held on Wednesday 11 June. Students in Year 10 have been sent home with the Yr 10 Meningococcal Immunisation Information Pack & Consent Forms.
Recently, our Outside School Hours Care has relocated to use B9 in our Early Years fenced area.
To support a safe and calm environment for our OSHC students, we kindly ask that the Early Years Playground not be used before 8:30am, after this time it is accessible as it is supervised by college staff. After 3pm the Early Years Playground is closed as this space is part of the OSHC program, and it becomes quite busy in the afternoons, making supervision tricky for staff.
We understand this may be an adjustment and we truly appreciate your support in helping us care for all children safely. Please feel free to sit and connect in the Breezeway, children can play in the sandpit area near Admin.
Thank you for your understanding.
At CCC, we offer a variety of exciting clubs for our students. Whether it’s discovering new interests, making new friends, or simply enjoying lunchtime, there’s something for everyone! Our clubs are thoughtfully designed to support students' growth in areas such as physical development, creativity, social skills, spiritual enrichment, and academic achievement. We can't wait to see our students get up to during Term 2.
Parents Approaching Other Children
Parents who have a grievance with the behaviour or language of a student enrolled at CCC, should raise their concern directly with a relevant staff member. Our staff will be able to assist in determining the best strategy for resolving the matter positively.
Never confront a student directly and never seek out that child in the playground or the classroom. This behaviour (no matter how calmly you speak) represents an imbalance of power and could cause distress for the child and other children in the area.
Never contact a student directly via phone or digital platforms for the purpose of raising your grievance. Again, contact college staff to seek assistance in addressing your concern.
All visitors (including parents and relatives) must sign in at the Administration Building, before entering other areas of the school campus (except during organised events or afternoon pick up).
Policy availible on our website below.
Congratulations to both our U19 and U13 boys teams who recently competed at the Sunshine Coast Futsal Trials. It was an amazing two days of competition, and we are so proud of the way our teams represented our school. A special mention to our U13 Eagles, who finished as runners-up – a wonderful achievement!
We also have some very exciting news: for the first time ever, we have four teams who have qualified to progress to the Champions of Champions tournament, to be held later this year in Brisbane! Congratulations to our U10, U11, and U13 boys teams, as well as our U16 girls team, for your outstanding efforts during the Fraser Coast and Sunshine Coast Regional Trials. We are so proud of all of you!
Congratulations to all fundraisers, we have raised ¾ of our target towards the outdoor kitchen in the Primary Village. Fundraising is still open up until the event date (which is yet to be confirmed). Once a new date is set we will notify you of cut off for fundraising and ordering and announce the wristband competition winner.
