Our Semester 2 Learning Progress Meetings are scheduled for Monday, 4 August (Wk 3). This is a valuable opportunity to connect with your child’s teachers, celebrate their achievements, and set goals for future growth.

Meeting Locations:

• Secondary: L1 & L2
• Primary: Your child’s regular classroom

Please note: Students with current or future IEPs have a separate process for progress discussions, please do not book a session.

Who can attend?

• All parents and caregivers are encouraged to book a 10 minute session with the teachers they would like to meet with.
• Students are welcome to join at your discretion.
• Our teachers will be available between 3:15 – 7:00 pm.

How to book your meeting?
Bookings must be made through the Parent Orbit App; this allows families to select convenient times. Please note that bookings will close on Thursday 31st July at 3pm.

Simple booking steps:

1. Log in to Parent Orbit App
2. Select Parent Teacher Interviews on front screen
3. Click on your child’s name.
4. Choose a suitable time and confirm your booking.
   

If you need to cancel, please notify our Admin office at (5481 1000).

Senior Phase Information Night and Expo on Thursday August 7 (Wk3), 6:30-8:30pm in Stan Baker Hall.

All Yr10s and parents are encouraged to attend. During the night we will outline key information about the Senior Phase of Learning, subject options, QCE points and ATAR (tertiary entrance ranking). Significant time will also be available for families to speak with our senior subject teachers, and several training providers, university representatives and local employers.

Book Fair continues this week in the Learning Hub.

Parents and families are welcome to come and explore a world of stories and fun – you can shop before and after school. It’s the perfect chance to spark your child’s love of reading and support our school! 

Little Arrows Playgroup Update

As the colder months bring sniffles and seasonal bugs

, Little Arrows will take a short break over the winter period. We’re planning to ease back into things with a couple of informal playdates in Spring, once the weather is warmer and little ones are feeling better.

Any special College events will be shared via email so you can still stay connected and join us if you wish.

Sign-up for Instrumental Music, SHINE Dance, and Excellence in Musical Theatre is now open for Term 3, 2025, and only available through Parent Lounge/Orbit App, where up-front payment is required (individual lessons and instrument hire will be invoiced an extra amount after sign up).

Students who are currently enrolled in the program will also need to be enrolled through Parent Lounge, each term.

Students can access help from trusted local tutors such as Lynda Carlos and Troy Duffey, as well as reputable online providers including Kinetic Dedication and Kip McGrath. These options complement our commitment to Leading Learning and supporting the wellbeing of each child by creating a strong foundation for both academic and personal growth.

You are warmly invited to our first SWAN Family Afternoon Tea & Networking Get-Together—a relaxed and welcoming chance to connect with other SWAN families, enjoy afternoon tea, and hear from a special guest speaker sharing their journey as a SWAN parent.

We’d love for you to come along. These sessions are designed to build connection, understanding, and confidence as we journey together in supporting our students with additional needs.

To help keep everyone safe, students should not go into the carparks during the school day, before school, or after school. These areas are not supervised and can be dangerous.

Also, please remember not to buy tuckshop food for other students. This is part of our school policy to make sure everyone is safe and healthy.

Operation Christmas Child is a hands-on way for you to bless children in need across the world by filling shoeboxes with toys, hygiene items, school supplies, and fun gifts. For week 3 bring a 'wow' item.

The CCC Parents and Friends Association has a long tradition of contributing to wonderful outcomes for all our students, working closely with school leadership and connecting families into our community. From Welcome BBQs to Bibles for Year 4 students, sporting bursaries to Faith in Action representatives, and from working bees to fundraising events, our parents are a vital part of the CCC community. This year we have welcomed many new families to the College and we would love for you to connect through our P&F.
