Last week’s Eisteddfod was a wonderful celebration of the God-given gifts and talents within our Cooloola Christian College community. Our ensembles, solo musicians, Bible readers, and other performers represented CCC with excellence, achieving outstanding results across many categories. More importantly, they shared their skills in a way that brought joy to others and glorified God.

Opportunities like this are part of our commitment to holistic education—nurturing not just academic achievement, but creativity, character, and service. It is a privilege to see our students grow in confidence, teamwork, and the courage to step forward and shine for Him.

As 1 Peter 4:10 reminds us: “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace.”

This Friday 22nd August 8:50 – 9:35 am at Stan Baker Hall

We’re excited to invite all parents and families to join us for our Book Week Costume Parade as we celebrate the joy of reading together!

Come and cheer on our students as they showcase their creative costumes inspired by their favourite books. Families are warmly encouraged to dress up too — we’d love to see everyone get involved!

To honour our Christian values, we kindly ask that costumes do not include magical themed characters.

We look forward to seeing you there for a morning full of fun, imagination, and community spirit!

Book Fair continues this week in the Learning Hub.

Parents and families are welcome to come and explore a world of stories and fun – you can shop before and after school. It’s the perfect chance to spark your child’s love of reading and support our school! 

All students are required to wear their Formal uniform this Friday 15 Aug as we will be officially opening the Primary Village. We look forward to celebrating this significant milestone together!

Due to the swimming timetable, certain classes will not be at school during their usual breaks. We kindly ask that you plan accordingly and not place tuckshop orders during these times.

Little Arrows Playgroup Update

As the colder months bring sniffles and seasonal bugs

, Little Arrows will take a short break over the winter period. We’re planning to ease back into things with a couple of informal playdates in Spring, once the weather is warmer and little ones are feeling better.

Any special College events will be shared via email so you can still stay connected and join us if you wish.

These options complement our commitment to Leading Learning and supporting the wellbeing of each child by creating a strong foundation for both academic and personal growth.
