All students will commence Term 1 on Tuesday 28 January. Students should arrive between 8.15am and 8.45am
and come dressed in formal uniform on the first day. Prep students will wear their sports uniform.

Families new to the College are encouraged to come to our Administration Office and a staff member will help
you find your way.

A "connection” program for all Year 7 and all new students will occur on Day One. This includes getting to know
your teachers and other students, as well as topics like - College values, expectations, culture, lockers, and
textbooks. To assist the transition into Secondary, Week 1 is computer free for Year 7. Year 7 students will be
issued with their devices during Week 2.

Primary Teachers and Secondary Pastoral Care Teachers will communicate with families during the first week,
sharing necessary details about specialist subjects, class routines, homework, sports/formal uniform days, special
themes for the term, and key events relevant to your child’s classes.

Commencement Service

Parents are welcome to join staff and students for our Commencement Service held in Stan Baker Hall at 9.00am on Tuesday 28 January 2024. Please sign in at Admin or the Hall

At CCC, we are pleased to offer dedicated bus services for our families servicing from Cooroy, Kilkivan, Glenwood/Gunalda, and Tin Can Bay.

Our bus drivers are like family, providing a safe and friendly service that parents can trust. With affordable fees and sibling discounts, we make it easy for your child to travel to and from school. Our Uniform shop opening hours for January are as follows, please note that the Uniform Shop will be closed on Monday February 3.

Please join us for our Term 1 Prayer Meeting at 7.00pm on Sunday 2 February 2025 in the Learning Hub, as we pray for our school, staff, students and community, and commit the term ahead to the Lord.

Our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) program has now moved into its own space within the College grounds. Casual and permanent places are available for Before School Care (BSC) and After School Care (ASC). Please contact the CCC Early Learning Centre on 5483 9517 for more information or to reserve your child’s place.

A reminder regarding a couple of our frequently inquired about policies.

Shoes

Students from Prep to Year 12 must wear completely black lace up leather (or leather-look) impervious shoes that comply with Workplace Health and Safety legislation.

Hair Styles

Hair is to be worn away from the face and not falling below the eyebrows to accommodate Health & Safety Legislation. Clips should be used to ensure hair does not impair vision. Hair below the collar must all be tied back. Ribbons/scrunchies/clips/bands in school colours may be worn. Hair accessories should be functional, not merely decorative.
