Encourage your child to lean on God during difficult moments, knowing that no storm is too great for His power and love.

This term, leading up to the Colour Run, we'll be raising funds for a new Outdoor Kitchen in the Primary Village, and we'd love for you to join us. The event will be held on the last day of term, Friday, 4th April.

School photos are re-scheduled for Wednesday 26 March. Leading Image will be on-site to take all Group, Class and ID photos throughout the day. Students must wear full formal uniform, with hair neat and tidy, to adhere to the Uniform Policy (link below).

Help keep us safe! Please don’t access the ring road in the morning. Our Primary students are moving about and the road area is not supervised before school.

We would like to remind you of our morning supervision arrangements to ensure the safety of all students.

General supervision at school begins at 8:15 am. However, supervision in the Early Years playground for Prep students does not begin until 8:30 am. Additionally, Prep classroom doors will not open for unpacking bags until 8:30 am.

If you arrive before 8:30 am, please ensure your child is dropped off at the Primary Village Courtyard, near the Year 1-6 classrooms, where a staff member is on duty from 8:15 am. There is no supervision in the Early Years playground before 8:30 am, and we have noticed that some parents are dropping off their children and leaving before this time. To ensure student safety, please direct your child to the supervised Primary Village Courtyard if arriving before 8:30 am.

If you require care outside these supervision times, our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service is available for before and after school care. Please contact the Early Learning Centre for more information on OSHC bookings.

We appreciate your support in following these procedures to keep all our students safe. If you have any questions, please contact your child’s teacher or Mrs Natalie Cocks (Deputy Principal – Primary) for more information.

Each year, students proudly represent Cooloola Christian College in various sports, with some progressing to Gympie District, Wide Bay, and even Queensland teams.

To be eligible for selection, students must:
- Maintain a 90% attendance rate
- Demonstrate high levels of behaviour and effort across all areas of school life
- Have strong parental support in upholding these expectations

Selection is a privilege, not a right. Invitation letters will state, “Congratulations, you have been invited to attend…”—a reminder that previous selection does not guarantee future opportunities. Coaches and officials prioritise respect for officials, positive attitudes, and sportsmanship when considering players.
