Belonging to a school community means feeling seen, valued, and supported. As a new school year begins, we welcome new faces and families into our community. It’s up to each of us to make one another feel at home.

In 1 Thessalonians 5:11, the apostle Paul reminds us, “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up.” How can we live this out at CCC?

Sometimes, it’s the simplest actions that make the biggest difference—a smile, a kind word, or inviting someone to sit together at lunch (for students) or grab a coffee (for parents). Taking the time to listen, include others, and offer support fosters a culture where everyone feels they belong.

If you’re a new parent, student, or staff member, we encourage you to get involved—introduce yourself, ask questions, and connect with others. We’re here to support you every step of the way. Our upcoming P&F Welcome BBQ on Thursday is a wonderful opportunity to meet other families, build new relationships, and settle into our school community.

Together, let’s create a warm and inclusive environment where everyone feels encouraged, valued, and uplifted.

Our Yr 7 Immunisation Clinic is being held on Wednesday 26th of February. Students in Year 7 have been sent home with the Yr 7 HPV & Boostrix Immunisation Information Pack & Consent Forms.

CCC Build is back for Term 1. Build starts in Week 3, Wednesday 12 February. Meet Mr Pritchard at 7am at the bottom oval.

We would love for you to join us for playgroup in our fully fenced early years area. We have playtime, sing songs together and participate in craft activities, and morning tea is provided for little ones. We'd love to see you there!

At CCC we have a code of conduct to set and communicate clear standards of behaviour (and associated consequences for breaches), which are expected to be upheld by all members of the College community.

This code of conduct applies to all members of the College community and includes phone calls, in-person and all digital communication platforms.

A few important reminders:

• If parents have a concern about a behaviour matter that may have occurred in class, it is important to make time to discuss it with the class teacher. Please ring or email to organise a suitable time, keep in mind that mornings are particularly busy for teachers preparing for the day.
• If parents have a concern about another parent or student, please contact the College. Please do not approach the other parents and students directly to discuss the matter.
• Please also remember that parents are not allowed to take pictures of other students or groups of students on school grounds.
