Primary Chapel & Devotions - Week 8
Primary Chapel – Easter Focus
This week in Primary Chapel, we will be learning about the true meaning of Easter, centred on our memory verse:
“God so loved the world that He gave His only Son.” – John 3:16
We will explore how Easter is the story of God’s great love for us. It reminds us that Jesus died on the cross to take away our sin, and that He rose again, bringing hope, new life, and the promise that we can be close to God forever. Through this, children will hear that they are deeply loved and that they belong to Him.
You might like to revisit this message at home by:
- Reading John 3:16 together
- Talking about why Easter is important to your family
- Sharing how you can show love and kindness to others this week
Our prayer is that this simple message of Easter—love, forgiveness, and new life—will be meaningful for your whole family.
Everyone is welcome to join us at 8:55am on Friday!
Preparing for Easter
To help prepare hearts and minds for Chapel and the Easter season, families might enjoy singing worship songs together at home that remind us of God’s love and the meaning of the cross.
