Easter Reflection
As Easter approaches, it’s a wonderful time to pause and reflect on what this season is really about. At the heart of Easter is the simple and powerful message of hope—through Jesus’ death and resurrection, we are shown God’s great love for us and the gift of new life.
We encourage families to make space over the break for connection—both with one another and with God. This might be as simple as sharing a meal, having meaningful conversations, or setting aside a few quiet moments together. You may like to visit a local church for an Easter service, or spend time reading part of the Easter story as a family. Some passages you could read include:
- John 3:16–17
- Luke 23–24
- John 19–20
- Romans 8:38–39
As you enjoy the holiday break, perhaps take the opportunity to get outdoors and appreciate God’s creation—whether it’s a walk, a picnic, or a day exploring the beautiful local area. You might also consider a small act of kindness or service, such as checking in on a neighbour, helping a friend, or giving back to someone in need.
We pray this Easter season brings your family peace, joy, and a renewed sense of hope in the love that surrounds us.
