Chapel & Devotion Focus – Week 2: The Breastplate of Righteousness (EXCELLENCE)
This week in Chapel and Devotions, our Primary students explored The Breastplate of Righteousness from Ephesians 6:14, connecting this part of the Armour of God with our CLEAR value of Excellence.
Students learnt that just as a breastplate protects a soldier’s heart, choosing to do what is right helps guard our hearts and shapes who we are becoming. We have been encouraging students to understand that righteousness means living God’s way—making choices that are honest, kind, and honouring to Him.
Across the week, students were encouraged to live out excellence in practical ways—by trying their best in their learning, showing respect to others, and doing the right thing even when no one is watching.
As a school community, we continue to remind our students that we are dressed for God’s work, and when we choose excellence, we reflect His character in our classrooms, playgrounds, and homes.
Family Connection:
You may like to ask your child: What does it look like to do your best for
God this week? or When is it hard to do the right thing?
We pray that our students continue to grow as courageous learners who honour God through excellence in all they do.
